MBX designs, configures, delivers and supports OEM hardware for some of the largest and most demanding software companies in the world. It is one of the fastest growing manufacturers of server appliances and embedded systems in the industry.
MBX Systems lived with an outdated website that did not property represent the company’s expertise and market-leading technology, nor actively engage with users. It was very dark, used old-style wireframe and navigation, contained too much copy and too few calls to action, yet didn’t have enough downloadable content.
There was also no concerted means of engaging users via blogs, social media, and other means. With the site not being maintained in a content-management system (CMS), it was very difficult to update except via HTML. Major updates had to be done in Cold Fusion.
The Usman Group designed a completely new website for MBX Systems that is now action-oriented, people-centric, modern and highly engaging. Working closely with the client, we consolidated and removed outdated pages to unify the overall content, navigation and hierarchy of the site.
We simplified large volumes of content into digestible snippets of copy and utilized icons and images to support a streamlined look. We also integrated social media channels into the site. Leveraging WordPress, we now enable the client to make changes to every page of the website. To further personalize the user experience and MBX Systems, we designed an innovative (and scalable) “Meet the Team” page.
